Owner: The John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts
Location: Washington, DC
Project Description: The Kennedy Center, located on the banks of the Potomac River near the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC, is renowned as one of the premier facilities in the world for performing arts. Because of the high profile this facility maintains they had a need for special transit shelters and not just any ordinary shelter would suffice for this site. In an effort to turn their attention away from the standard aluminum shelters on the market, Shelters Direct worked with the local engineer and architect to come up with a design that would stand alone from others. The shelters included:
- Arched/Curved Roof
- Angled Frame Construction
- Stained Mahogany Wood Bench Seating
