Project Description: Shelters Direct was contracted through our GSA Federal Supply Schedule to furnish and provide a smoking shelter for the hospital on base. The shelter requested was an aluminum shelter and required Shelters Direct to erect and install the shelter on a concrete pad supplied by the Government. The shelter included:
- A fully enclosed half glass structure with no open ventilation space
- An ADA entrance door with automatic closer
- An integral electrical load center with interior lighting, HVAC and an exhaust fan
- Interior seating was provided with surface mounting benches
- Ashtrays and trash receptacles were provided for courtesy use
