Project Description: The Dulles Greenway is a privately owned 14-mile toll road that connects Washington Dulles International Airport with Leesburg, Virginia. The Greenway is the first private toll road in Virginia since 1816.
Shelters Direct was contracted to provide four (4) overhead canopies at two (2) of the exits to provide shelter for the toll booths and E-ZPass equipment. The canopies were pre-engineered in order to minimize the amount of time it took to install once they arrived at the site. The design was certified by Shelters Direct’s engineer and stamped by recognized Virginia Professional Engineer. The canopies provided internal roof drains, access ladders/hatches, and sign supports.
