Project Description: Cumberland, Maryland is a small city located in the Western panhandle of Maryland. In an effort to combine it’s historic charm and quaint downtown the city applied for a grant to design attractive transit shelters and kiosks to place around the city. Once the funds were obtained, the City contracted with Shelters Direct to work with City personnel to design the shelters shown below.
The shelters are multi-colored and were manufactured in a “single bay” and a “double bay”. Once delivered, the Shelters Direct installation department provided unloading and setting in place at several locations.
