The project required covered drop-off areas and dedicated break spaces to provide year-round protection from the elements while supporting facility operations and aesthetics. Project Details
Aluminum Drop-Off Shelters
Two aluminum drop-off shelters, each measuring 7’5″ x 14’7″, were installed to offer employees and visitors a comfortable, weather-protected area for arrival and departure. Each shelter includes:
- 84-inch clear opening
- Twin-wall opal translucent hip roof for natural daylighting
- Fixed windows with ¼-inch clear tempered safety glass
- Durable aluminum construction designed for long-term performance
Pre-Engineered Break Area Canopies
Six pre-engineered break area canopies, each 20′ x 26’6″, were installed to create covered outdoor gathering spaces for employees. Each canopy includes:
- Four-column structural design
- 13’6″ clearance height
- 36-inch fascia
- External drainage system for effective water management
- Surface-mounted lighting integrated into the canopy structure to improve visibility
Result
The project transformed underused outdoor areas into practical spaces that enhance employee comfort, safety, and productivity. The drop-off shelters offer reliable protection from sun and weather, while the break-area canopies provide inviting spaces for employees to gather and recharge.
